This 1872 map of the three boroughs -- Brownsville, Bridgeport and West Brownsville -- is sourced from the Atlas of the County of Fayette and the State of Pennsylvania from actual surveys & official records, compiled and published by G. M. Hopkins & Co. of Philadelphia in 1872. The engraver was Edward Busch. Listed on the left side of the map are many local merchants and businessmen of that year.
